Two Layer Umbrellas

One reason you might want to create two layer umbrellas is to have two different color fabrics in one umbrella. We can build your umbrella with contrasting colors inside and to create an eye catching umbrella.

Using two layers, you can also create two print stories in the umbrella. One print on the inside and one on the outside. Both layers working together to create a truly unique umbrella.

In the case of the umbrella in this picture above, we used a black layer for the exterior and a we printed the artwork on each of the white panels of the inside layer. These interior panels were silkscreened with the artwork all over prior to sewing up the interior layer.

The two layers work together to create a surprise on the inside of what might otherwise be a plain black umbrella.

Printing

We can print in full color or silkscreen depending on your design idea. We keep a range of stocked fabrics to silkscreen or we can print your color all over if needed.

Color Matching

If none of our stocked fabrics match close enough for your project, we can print all over with our digital printing to match any Pantone® color.

Frame Options

We offer stocked frame styles which are the fastest option and custom frames depending on your needs. Two layer umbrellas can be made with our compact or full length frames. Custom frames will take longer than our stocked frames, but we can customize the color of the frame and handle to coordinate with the colors of the umbrella fabrics for just the right finishing touch.

Artwork Requirements

We prefer artwork in Adobe Illustrator or Photoshop when possible. If you need assistance with the creation of any layouts, let us know.  You can even test out your design using our online customizer by following the link here: Umbrella Customizer

Like all of our custom umbrellas, we start with confirming the design on paper and once approved we will create your approval sample prior to production.
