Print Coverage

When printing on our stocked tote bags, we will have a more limited print area on the bag due to the seams of the finished bag. Each print area will differ depending on the style bag we are printing. All Over Print Coverage

If you are looking for more than standard print coverage on your totes, we recommend creating custom bags which allow us to print the canvas before we sew up the bags. We silkscreen the panels before we sew up the canvas. There are no limits to the design or position of the print when we custom make these for you.

Artwork

We prefer Adobe Illustrator® vector artwork when doing silkscreen printing. This allows for the cleanest results in the final print. If you need help preparing your artwork let us know.

Color Matching

We silkscreen using colorfast inks and we mix custom Pantone® colors if you have specialty colors in your design. Basic colors, like black, white, navy, red and gray are always available, but if your logo or graphic calls for a specific color, we can mix it for you.

Full Color Printing

If your design consists of many, many colors or gradations of colors is tonal, we would recommend printing digitally. Unlike silkscreen printing digital printing will allow us to capture all of the tone of your original artwork.  So, we always like to start a project knowing what you want to print, so we can make the  best recommendations. Color Canvas

When printing on black or dark colors, we print white first as an ‘underlay’ to be sure the final color is bright against the color canvas. When printing on dark colors with lighter colors, the ink will be thicker on the canvas than if we are printing dark colors on light canvas.

Proofing

When we start a tote project, we work with your design concept to create a print layout that we can silkscreen effectively to fit your finished tote. You will work directly with our design team to finalize the best way to craft your tote from print to the final finishes of construction including handle details.  So whether your tote is a basic logo tote, or a more complex design, we have you covered.
