How Does it Work?
We start the process by designing the quilt pattern that works best for your bag size and shape. The quilted patterns are created by making a traditional punch card that will stitch out the patterns into the fabric complete with a backing.
Once the design is approved, the fabric is quilted first by the yard and then we cut and sew the quilted fabric into totes and accessories. Thread color can be part of the design and we have the option of using same or contrasting color threads.
What Fabrics Can be Quilted?
We work with cotton, polyester, nylon and blends to create custom quilted effects.
Why Use Quilting?
When you quilt any fabric you add body to the fabric which will make any bag project stand out. Quilting even a lightweight fabric can turn a simple fabric into a stand up material to create truly useful bags.
