We mold and decorate custom melamine plates, trays and bowls in a variety of shapes and sizes with full color decoration. We have a range of existing size molds so we can find just the right plate size for your project. If you are looking for a complete set of plates, we have existing molds to produce sets as well as single plates. If you have an existing shape you are trying to copy, let us know and we can check if there is an existing mold to match your style. If your shape is unique and requires a custom mold, we can do that too.
Shapes
Choose from hundreds of shapes including molded children’s shaped plates and complete matching sets. You can work with our existing molds, or we can create a unique shape for your project. Every project starts with your goals in mind and we will confirm whether we need to create custom molds or if we have a matching mold for your project.
Minimum Order Quantity
When using our molds, the minimum order quantity is 1,000 units. We have hundreds of existing melamine mold shapes to choose from. If we create a custom shape for your project custom mold charges will apply. Custom Melamine Plates are not stocked for decorating. The manufacturing process involves printing the decals and then embedding them into the melamine during manufacture. These decals do not sit on top of the melamine, they are molded into the material, so we are not able to decorate custom melamine plates at small QTYS.
Print Artwork for Custom Melamine Plates
For artwork, we recommend 300 dpi color correct files for best color quality and a match print when possible. We can work with Illustrator or Photoshop files and if you have Pantone® color targets, we can match to those as well. If you have other types of artwork, call us to discuss.
